Faintly tanned, peach colored flesh, dirty blonde, choppy textured hair and numerous scars made up her body. Her face was dotted with light freckles, and a beauty mark along her left cheek. Brownish red eyes, like cooling iron cast a nigh piercing gaze at what ever happened to draw her attention. Her posture, was often one of confidence and grace, as to be expected from one of her position. Ever the polite and noble individual, wont to turning her nose up at those that would be deemed as lesser, vagrants, thieves and beggars.Underneath holy and anointed armor, was an athletic, toned and slightly muscled body riddled with numerous scars. Jagged claws that ripped into flesh, left as not but white streaks of discolored skin. The back of her left shoulder bearing a different kind of scar, raised streaks that rather than sharing tales of glorious battle, spake of devotion and penance. Markings of a twelve tailed lash swung repeatedly over her shoulder. Once for each of the knight's of legend, once for each of the twelve, and twelve for each sin that mortals are bound to commit in their fleeting lives.

Born to the lesser noble house of Corentiaux, Cevilia lead a fairly privileged life. One of education, fine arts and noble activities such as dueling, and poetry. While, not minding the life of a Socialite, she was often wont to partake in more boyish activities. Hunting, fencing, getting into fights and other trouble. It was at an early age that she entered the service of House Durendaire, as a squire to one of its more senior knights. Often being required to be seen and not heard, truly a horrid fate for one that was so active and outgoing as she. Numerous times, the girl would seek to prove her martial prowess in the eyes of the knight, taking up countless forms of blade and spear. It was around the time that she turned seventeen, that Cevilia would finally get her public recognition, by entering the Grand Tournament and besting the knight that she had studied under in rather short order.Wont to take up further study of the blade, while her fellow knights would use their leisure time to enjoy more... personal activities, it was hardly surprising at how quickly she picked up the teachings of the Temple Knights, how she refined her craft. Often venturing out to face the Dravanian menace with her more experienced and senior compatriots. While, never being able to make it into the Knight's Dragoon, Cevilia was no stranger to how they fought, how they acted, and while not as agile nor jumpy as they were, she was able to keep pace with them in time, often drawing the ire and attention of their prey whilst her more spear oriented comrades dove in to deliver the mortal blow to these bewinged beasts. Her aether thrummed strong with wind and ice, and her shield worked well in deflecting the burning breaths of her foes, which made her a fairly favorable person to have on such offensive operations. As the Dragonsong war raged on, Cevilia went on to start hunting down the hidden heretics. With dragons and heretic both put to the Knight's blessed blade, Cevilia sought to seek out more personal challenges when she could. Often setting out on her own, or with a small group to hunt down various great beasts of legend across Coerthas and Abalathia's spine. It was one such solo trek that would lead her to finally making a name for herself. Stumbling across the den of a dragon, descended from evil incarnate with blackened wings and flame as if they came from the depths of the seventh hell. Their battle waged on until Cevilia managed to strike the killing blow, plunging her blade deep into the dragon's body. Upon returning to Ishgard with her grisly trophies, she was dubbed of the Silver Wing, the dragon's body parts being used to create new arms and armor for the Knight, reflecting her new title.

Marks of Bravery

The influx of Garleans traveling to Ishgard brought about a new "sport", a sort of Academic Fencing as many liked to call it. A show of courage, of bravery and honor.Traditional Fencing, of course wasn't without its dangers. A few scratches, cuts and scrapes. No doubt Cevilia had her fair share of those. But there was something that was just... More intense a feeling about the closeness of this almost barbaric display of bravado. Standing close enough to your opponent to smell their breath, striking your blade wildly at their face as they did the same. It was exhilarating. The scars that lashed the Elezen's face, to the average person. They were marks of battle. To other nobles, and to Garleans. It was a sign that Cevilia had a particular way of settling disagreements.

Marks of Penance

Further down her body, were one fortunate enough to see her naked, or otherwise exposed. They'd notice far more than just the usual scars of war.No, her back looked like it had been torn apart. Countless lashes running across her shoulder and spine, creating a rough, jagged cross of raised and welted flesh. An archaic practice; Self-flagellation, the practice of whipping oneself in an act of penance for their sins, and by the looks of it. Cevilia considered herself quite the sinner.

OOC:I strive to stay within the confines of the lore, abiding by it to the best of my ability. By no means do I know every single detail, nor am I some perfect being.Everything I do with my characters is often carefully thought out, and I try to support it with written lore, or in more vague areas, I am not against looking towards previous entries in the franchise and of course theory crafting to try and find a plausible answer.I would expect a similar effort put forward by those that I interact with, and while I am not wholly against people taking inspiration from other universes, please do not try to turn FFXIV into things like Warframe, Destiny or 40k, it does kill my interest in doing things with you.A lot of us like to play the Adventurer or Hero archetype, and thus we tend to play strong or powerful characters, which is fine, but keep in mind that there are limits to what is believable. No one wants to run around with an unstoppable god that can walk through walls like they were paper, or crumple armor with a flick of their finger.I believe OOC communication is one of the best tools in RP, if there is something that you aren't sure on, or that you aren't comfortable with, then I encourage you to ask OOC for clarification that way we can all try to keep the interaction entertaining for everyone involved. After all, we're collaborating on a story for everyone involved.I am open to all forms of RP, from casual slice of life to action and adventure. And while I am not shy about darker, more violent themes, or yes even those that are Erotic, I would ask that you message me OOC with those intentions before just springing them on me.Obviously, with ERP, there has to be a reason for it.Same with combat, Cevilia isn't gonna just walk up to some random person and be like "Hey fight me." So why would you?

I've been Roleplaying through quite a few different mediums since I was like 10, moving through online forums, to tabletops like DND, World of Warcraft, SWTOR, etc.Outside of Roleplaying, I enjoy competitive target shooting, hiking, camping, hunting, playing other Video games like Hunt: Showdown.I am a Paramedic and thus work long hours which can leave me with a rather erratic schedule, especially with class being involved on top of that where I am working towards my degree.I am open to giving out my discord, and I love joining community servers, so feel free to poke me about that!
